Chris Dees Joins Arvest Treasury Management Team in North Central AR

Arvest Bank announced that Chris Dees is joining the bank’s Treasury Management team as an assistant vice president and treasury management sales advisor.


In his new role, Dees will be responsible for working with business clients through a consultative approach, focusing on leveraging technology and fraud prevention services to enhance the efficiency of the businesses’ cash flow. Dees has six years of experience in the banking industry and most recently was a financial sales representative with Arvest, prior to his role as a universal customer advocate with Bear State Bank.

“As a former business owner and experienced banker, Chris can provide valuable insight into what solutions Arvest Treasury Management can provide to better streamline a business client’s receivables and payables functions,” said Shawn Christian, senior vice president and treasury management regional sales manager for Arvest Bank. “In addition to his unique experience, Chris is also a native of the community and understands which products and services are best suited for the business clients in the market.”

Dees will be based in Yellville, but will serve the entire North Central Arkansas market, in addition to Arvest clients in Jonesboro.

He is a board member of the Ozark Arts Council and has participated in productions of the Lyric Theatre.

Dees is a native of Harrison and a graduate of Harrison High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arkansas Tech University. He and his wife, Michelle, live in Harrison with their daughter.

He succeeds Heather Russell who is relocating within Arvest Treasury Management.

Kellogg Joins Arvest Bank Treasury Management Team

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Randy Kellogg as vice president and international senior business development advisor for its Treasury Management division.

Kellogg, who has more than 30 years of industry experience, will be based in Oklahoma City, but serve Kansas and Missouri in addition to Oklahoma. In this role, Kellogg will be responsible for sales activities within large corporate accounts, middle market and business banking.

“Randy’s experience and expertise make him a fantastic addition to our team,” said Julie Simmons, senior vice president and regional sales manager for Arvest Treasury Management. “Having him on our team will allow Arvest Treasury Management to provide support to companies throughout Oklahoma, as well as Kansas and Missouri, for all products offered under the umbrella of International Banking within Arvest. We couldn’t be more excited for him to get started.”

Kellogg holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics from Oklahoma State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. He has served on the Oklahoma District Export Council and is currently a member of the Oklahoma Governor’s International Team. He and his wife, Melody, have two adult sons and live in Guthrie.

Arvest Bank Adds Bricker to Treasury Management Team

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Jonathan Bricker as vice president and international business development representative for its Treasury Management division.

Bricker, who has more than 16 years of industry experience, will be based in Little Rock, but serve the entire state of Arkansas. In his new role, Bricker will be responsible for sales activities within large corporate accounts, middle market and business banking.

“We are thrilled to add Jonathan to our team,” said Shawn Christian, senior vice president and regional sales manager for Arvest Treasury Management. “His experience and expertise will be a big benefit not just to the bank, but more importantly, our clients. Having him on our team will allow Arvest Treasury Management to provide support to Arkansas-based companies for all products offered under the umbrella of International Banking within Arvest.”

Bricker is a volunteer for Arkansas Children’s Hospital, vice president of the Lambda Phi Home Association of Sigma Nu, and has served as a board member for March of Dimes, among other civic endeavors.

Arvest Bank Hires Simmons for Treasury Management Role

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Julie Simmons as senior vice president and regional sales manager for its Treasury Management division.

As such, Simmons will work with Arvest banks in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. She is responsible for managing, supporting and growing the sales of treasury management products. Simmons has more than 23 years of industry experience.

“Her track record speaks for itself, and her expertise will benefit not just Arvest, but more importantly, our clients,” said Carolyn Kennedy, senior vice president and executive director of Arvest Treasury Management. “We are delighted to add Julie to our team and know she will be an invaluable asset as we continue to transform the way we bring great advice via our products and services to our clients and business owners in the trade territories we serve.”

Simmons earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Northeastern State University. Among other civic endeavors, she served as an ambassador and social chair for the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce, and is a Leadership Broken Arrow graduate. Simmons has previously been an active member of the American Red Cross and United Way, among other organizations.

Arvest Bank Welcomes Darla Marler to Treasury Management

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce that Darla Marler has joined the bank as a treasury management sales advisor serving the Joplin and Springfield markets.

After spending six years in healthcare, Marler returns to her banking roots with over 10 years of commercial banking and treasury management experience. In her new role at Arvest Bank, she will be responsible for working with commercial clients through a consultative approach, focusing on how to leverage technology and fraud prevention services to enhance efficiency of their company’s cash flow.

“Darla brings a wealth of commercial banking and treasury management knowledge to Arvest, as well as familiarity with the region she will be supporting,” said Carolyn Kennedy, executive director of the Treasury Management division. “She will be able to support her business clients to find ways to maximize their payables and receivables processes, along with providing solutions for potential barriers that may be limiting their ability to grow. We believe Darla is well-suited to provide a high level of expertise and support to the clients in her region and look forward to what she will be able to achieve in her new role with Arvest.”

Marler received her bachelor’s degree in communication from Missouri State University and is a graduate of the Richardson’s Consultative Sales Training course. Born and raised in Springfield, Marler has three children and was previously involved with the United Way and served as chair on the advisory board of the Lutheran Family and Children Services, and served on the board for the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
